  1. How is Lifelock different from other credit monitoring or recovery services?
    Recovering and monitoring services are just that... They help you fix a problem after it has occurred and provides you with some financial reimbursement. Lifelock does what these companies do not - Lifelock prevent the crime from ever happening in the first place.

  2. Does Lifelock protect my credit card and other accounts?
    Lifelock do not monitor your individual credit transaction.Most lending institutions do an excellent job with fraud protection. If you are a victim of credit card fraud or banking fraud, our service would cover and assists you beyond what lending institution already does for you.

  3. Does the monthly/annual fee include my spouse, children or other family members?
    The $10 month/110 a year fee is for each adult in the family that decides to sign up. To enroll your children in the first-ever children's ID Theft Protection Plan, the fee is just $10 a year per child, and the same adult services apply to all children under the age of 16.

  4. How does Lifelock affect my existing accounts?
    Lifelock does not affect your existing accounts. However if anyone tried to change your address to re-route bills, credit cards or other personal information from your current credit card accounts, Lifelock would prevent this from happening.

  5. How secure is Lifelock from computer hackers?
    Lifelock do have strict guidelines over how information is stored and protected. At no time is client data stored on any public web server. There are no temporary databases located on the public servers. No computer in our physical office holds client record data.

    Lifelock hires companies to continually try to break into Lifelock's system and since they can't, Lifelock have earned certification from Hackersafe, a company that ensure corporate systems.

  6. Does Lifelock send me confirmation?
    Lifelock will notify you when your account has been established with a receipt and a letter that provides a detailed explanation of our service. You will aslo receive confirmations from the credit bureaus staing that we have placed the locks on your accounts along with a copy of your credit reports.

  7. How does Lifelock backup the guarantee?
    Lifelock is funded by privaye investment. Lifelock is well funded and has never had client's identity stolen. You can see the strength of the organization by the executives involved such as the former vice-chairman of Bank of America, former Global Chief Technology Officer at Visa and former CEO of Internet America.

  8. What does Lifelock guarantee cover?
    Our guarantee is simple: If your identity is ever stolen while you are our client, we will fix the problem. Period. No matter what it takes. No matter what it costs up to $1 million dollars.

  9. Do I need to notify Lifelock before I apply for credit?
    No. That is not necessary. We only need to be contacted if you need to serv as a mediator because of the credit grantor needs help by navigating the alert process.
